Confirmed: 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' to hit screens in 3-D

Harry Potter: Warner Bros. confirmed today that the final two installments of the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 will both be released in 3-D. Additionally, the release date of Clash of the Titans has been pushed back to April 2 to allow for that potential blockbuster to be converted to 3-D as well.

We reported last week that Clash of the Titans and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will both receive the 3D treatment and now the news was confirmed by Variety . The trade also notes that the earlier-reported April 2 release date for Clash of the Titans has been confirmed as well.
