Emma Watson: Chanel have denied rumours Emma Watson, the actress who stars as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, will be the new face of their Coco Mademoiselle perfume.
A Chanel spokesperson said: "Whilst we have a close friendship with Emma Watson there is no contract".
A Sunday newspaper had suggested the 18-year-old had signed a two-year contract worth GBP3 million, and would replace Keira Knightley, who has been the face of the fragrance for the last two years.
Chanel said that although they have a very close relationship with Miss Watson, and have been dressing her for film premieres, there are no plans to hire her.
