Rowling, Potter went from being a young boy in a horrible family to the “chosen one” of the wizardry world that could save them all from the Dark Lord. Sounds an awful lot like child’s play to anyone that doesn’t really know much about the series, and as a matter of fact it begun that way. The Sorcerer’s Stone started out with these young...

Editor's Picks: Tom DiChiara's Top 10 Movies of 2009

Super furry animals
WHEN is a children's film unsuitable for children? Two of the summer's biggest tickets, Where the Wild Things Are and Fantastic Mr Fox , have flummoxed both critics and parents. Will children be frightened by monsters who destroy their own houses in anger, as they do in Spike Jonze's adaptation of Maurice Sendak's prize-winning picture book? Or will they just be bored by their melancholic kvetching, as they may be by Wes Anderson's Mr Fox, who insists on calling other animals by their Latin...

Collider
. Warner Bros. has apparently cooled on
the idea, but since that studio isn't as immersed in the toy property updates as, say, Paramount, this could be a smart move.
